Every Lord's Day reminds us of the risen Christ who has promised to meet with men and women gathered in His name. Prayer, praise and preaching are integral parts of Christian worship. Each service features a sermon which helps us to understand a passage from the Bible in a clear and practical way.

Walton has two services each Sunday. The 9:30am family service includes a children's story and prayer prior to the sunday school leaving for their classes. There is a nursery for children under 3 with attendants present and the service can be heard in this room.

The Eleven o'clock service is more traditional in nature.

We have music at both services, led by one of our three choirs. Often we are fortunate to have excellent soloists or instrumentalists. We make use of the screen and projector during worship. We also have the occasional drama or video. Our two ministers take turns leading us in worship.

During the summer months there is one service at 10 a.m., with nursery and junior congregation.

Between the services there is a coffee and juice time: a time to share and visit with our church family. We have a ramp and an elevator so the church is quite accessible to all. We also tape the service for those who cannot attend.

Quarterly, on the 1st Sunday of the month , we have a healing and prayer service following the second service.

We are also holding Ecumenical Taize Prayer Services periodically.

At Christmas time, we have 4 services on Christmas Eve, December 24th:

Storytellers Service (for the Young and Young at Heart) is at 4:30pm.
Two Family Services, one at 6pm and one at 7:30pm
Candlelight Communion Service at 10:30pm.

There is an Ash Wednesday evening service at the beginning of Lent.

At Easter, we celebrate a Good Friday Service. Easter Sunday includes a sunrise service on Bronte Pier along with our two scheduled services.
